Organist, pianist, conductor and composer – Sir Wayne Marshall is a musical multi-talent. In 2021, the British musician thrilled the Berlin audience at the Waldbühne concert with his piano and conducting skills. This season he makes his debut at the organ of the Philharmonie Berlin – with a programme in which he juxtaposes French and German works of the late-Romantic period. Not least, Wayne Marshall has gained a reputation as an imaginative improviser. In this capacity, he will take on the music of Ludwig van Beethoven.
