2. Jazz Festival

The conductor blows the whistle, the music rolls, the tension rises! Just like a football team, nothing works in a big band without perfect teamwork. In 2022, not only will the World Cup take place, but also the Big Band's football concert. A humorous journey into the world of jazz music reveals what a big band and a football team have in common.

Held in the Tischlerei performance space at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Over the six days of the festival the BigBand of the Deutsche Oper Berlin presents six somewhat different jazz concerts interspersed with readings, dance, film and drama.
