Description
Thanks to his tremendous virtuosity, the clarity and brilliance of his playing, and the emotional depth of his interpretations, Daniil Trifonov, a Russian living in the US, has already achieved almost legendary status as a pianist in his mid-30s, delighting both Martha Argerich and Alfred Brendel.
Together with our former Artist in Residence, violinist Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider, he will perform passionate, romantic works by Clara and Robert Schumann, concentrated miniatures by Anton Webern, and Ludwig van Beethoven's sky-storming “Kreutzer Sonata.”
