Kammermusikmatinee des Konzerthausorchesters

The “Orchester des Wandels” (“Orchestra of Change”) initiative, which the KHO joined in fall 2025, describes its mission as follows: "We see climate, nature, and species protection as part of our cultural mandate. As musicians, we want to take action on this important issue and address the climate crisis in creative concert formats. For us, the emotional power of music is the medium through which we can reach and inspire people [...]." For the first time, seven of our musicians play a concert as part of this membership. On the programme are works dedicated to the pastoral – the idea of peaceful coexistence between humans and nature, which dates back to antiquity. In addition, participants will provide information about the concerns and goals of  “Orchester des Wandels”.
