Description

„Despite all the possibilities of programming, an orchestra is defined by its great core repertoire. It's very important to cultivate that, to work on it, to keep it alive all the time,“ said Joana Mallwitz in our season magazine, naming Beethoven, Brahms and Mahler in particular, to whom she would like to pay special attention with the Konzerthausorchester. Our principal conductor is now bringing together works by these three great composers for a gala concert celebrating the 125th anniversary of Deutsche Grammophon, with whom she signed an exclusive contract in the summer. To the "Yellow Label", we wish the „Prosperous Voyage“ from Beethoven's op. 112 for the next 125 years!
