Bakr Khleifi & Misagh Joolaee

Building on their successful duo debut in 2024, Palestinian-­born Bakr Khleifi and Misagh Joolaee, who hails from Iran, present a new program that delves deeper into the classical traditions of Arabic and Persian music. The interplay of oud and kamancheh creates a dynamic dialogue reflecting both the shared roots and unique expressions of the two artists’ respective cultures. In compositions and improvisations, they blend classical maqamat and dastaghs with innovative ideas and new possibilities.
