"Salon Boulanger"
ein musikalisch-literarischer Abend von Volker Hagedorn -

Description

The “salons” were already cultural institutions in Paris when Liszt and Chopin shone in them. And they were still celebrating the “Zeitgeist” at the crossroads of the “Belle Époque” and the “Fin de Siècle”, the time in which Nadia and Lili Boulanger grew up. Volker Hagedorn - author for “Die Zeit”, “Deutschlandfunk Kultur” and the books “Der Klang von Paris” and “Flammen - eine europäische Musikerzählung 1900-1018”, among others - expands the salon into a pasticcio especially for this homage, in which music, biography, contemporary history and images are combined well into the 20th century. Christiane Paul, Ulrich Noethen and the musicians of the Trio Boulanger immerse us in private dramas and historical upheavals, taking us on a journey into the lives and music of the Boulanger sisters.
