Linda Fredriksson

“For me, music has often been a place to escape from things, a world of its own where I can breathe and be who I am,” says Linda Fredriksson. “It’s a world where all the horrors and pains can take new forms, where I get to process things, let them change.” The Finnish saxophonist and composer’s work blends experimental textures, powerful melodies, and atmospheric soundscapes. For their Pierre Boulez Saal debut, they will perform two individual sets of both old and new music with a group of trusted collaborators and guests.
