David Krakauer & Kathleen Tagg

Composer-pianist Kathleen Tagg and clarinet David Krakauer’s multidisciplinary project Breath & Hammer, seen at the Pierre Boulez Saal in 2019 and again in 2022, remains one of the most memorable productions in the hall’s ten-year history.

Now the two musicians return for the West-Eastern Divan Festival to present an entirely different side of their artistry: joined by acclaimed guest artists and longtime colleagues, they will coach and perform with a group of students of the Fundación Barenboim-Said in Seville in a program specially created for the occasion.
