Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 1 still reflects the influence of his idols. Nevertheless, his own musical language is already clearly apparent. After the concert, conductor Robin Ticciati and pianist Kirill Gerstein will speak about this grandiose work, which the composer fundamentally revised shortly before emigrating to the US.
