Description

Returning to the Pierre Boulez Saal in a new lineup, the Cuarteto Casals presents a new piece by Catalan composer Elisenda Fábregas. Terra encesa (“Fiery Earth”) is a musical tribute to the creative power of our planet and a passionate appeal to preserve it. The piece, which was commissioned by the ensemble and had its world premiere in Barcelona in early 2025, is framed by string quartets by Haydn and Schubert.
