In addition to works by the Viennese genius, the Zurich Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Hope will also perform pieces by Joseph Haydn and Christoph Willibald Gluck. And there's a violin concerto by Joseph Bologne, violin virtuoso and composer during the French Revolution with an unusual biography: He was the son of a French nobleman and a slave from Guadeloupe, as well as a feared fencer in the Légion des Américains et du Midi!
