Winterreise – Song Cycle on poems by Wilhelm Müller D 911

In 2023, Samuel Hasselhorn and Ammiel Bushakevitz launched their “Schubert 200” project, dedicated to the songs Franz Schubert wrote in the final years of his life, and leading up to the 200th anniversary of the composer’s death in 2028. Following their acclaimed recording of Die schöne Müllerin, which won the Diapason d’or for best song album of the year, the two artists return to the Pierre Boulez Saal to present Schubert’s Winterreise, his second great cycle, composed in 1827.
