Mihaela Martin is a passionate chamber musician—whether as a co-­founder of the Michelangelo String Quartet or performing opposite longtime artistic collaborators such as Martha Argerich and Elena Bashkirova. For her duo program with pianist Enrico Pace, the Romanian violinist and professor at the Barenboim­-Said Akademie has selected works by Igor Stravinsky, Clara Schumann, and Amy Beach, which she combines with violin sonatas by Edvard Grieg and her compatriot George Enescu.
