Description
Following his foray into electronic territory in November, this season’s second concert featuring hornist Ben Goldscheider showcases the natural sound of his instrument. Together with violinist Alina Ibragimova and pianist Dénes Várjon, he performs Brahms’s 1865 Horn Trio and the world premiere of a contemporary companion piece by French composer Benjamin Attahir commissioned by the Pierre Boulez Saal. Ibragimova and Várjon open the program with Brahms’s A-major Sonata for Violin and Piano.
